GDF has increased its breeding of Goldens and crosses because of the desire
of many for the breed. 

Currently we do have a wait for German Shepherds, up to a year, and more for
Smooth Coated Collies and Poodles. 

That is, if these are the only breeds an applicant will accept.

Hi all,
My friend came to visit this weekend, and she has a beautiful golden
retriever from Guide Dogs for the Blind. Currently, there is a long wait for
a golden at GDB. I was just wondering if that is true for many schools? Do
most of them have a long wait for a golden? Or a long wait for another
breed? Just curious.
