[nagdu] Kittens and your dog

That's what I would suggest, too. Put the food away for now (though I'm 
coming in much later) and spend some time with the dog doing those 
things that reinforce the dog's sense of place in the home and family. 
Then try the food again or even just wait until the next meal time. Is 
the dog drinking? It may also help to let the dog know how you expect 
her to act around and towards the kittens. Even giving her some time to 
see how you interact with the kittens, especially as the newness wears 
off, may help her.

Isn't your dog fairly new to the household, too? Forgive me if I have 
you confused with someone else. /smile/ If she's new -- a year or less 
-- then she may need a lot more reassurance and reminders of her place 
-- including her importance -- than she might otherwise.
