Rox’e, you mentioned videoing (is that a word?) your training sessions. Did you do this, or did you have someone shadowing you with a camera? I’m thinking about this myself, and it sounds like a great excuse (Umm, I mean reason) to get something like one of the Gopro video cameras, which apparently is very accessible and (with a head mount) shoots whatever it is you’re facing, sort of a first person view of things. So it wouldn’t necessarily capture you, being as you’re wearing it, but it would capture what’s going on around you.
