Hi Raven,

	Kansas City is coming up in the world with regard to finding these
items; I suspect I just need to look, and another handler kind of gave me
food diar4y for a week, and that isn't nearly as hard as I thought it would
be.
	I will say, however, I'd believe you before Dr. Becker who, I
believe is in this business for the money.

Raw is natural, or as close to natural as you can possibly get, which is the
healthiest option for any carnivore. Maybe it is not as convenient to
portion out and feed, maybe it's not easy to switch every dog from processed
to raw, maybe it's sometimes not conveniently available as kibble is, and
maybe storage is a bigger concern. But I cannot express how liberating and
relieving it is to know exactly what I'm feeding my dog, to be able to go to
my food providers and ask:
what did these animals eat? where were they raised? how were they killed?
How was the meat treated afterward?
I think kibble is the easiest option when it comes to feeding, but there's
nothing healthy about it. It's like living off of mostly cereal your entire
life.
Dogs have certainly evolved, and they have grown less healthier in general.
I've only been around for a short time, but older family members and family
friends go on about how they cannot believe how dogs nowadays suffer from so
many things--chronic illnesses and infections, allergies, anal gland issues,
and cancer. And the same is true for people. Allergies, and cancer are
rampant. During my own childhood, allergies were definitely not so prevalent
as they are now.
A number of things have changed, including the prevalence of processed
foods. They don't kill right away, but they definitely catch up with you.
Concerning food shortage, when you keep your business local, you would be
surprised at what is available. I understand this is not an option for
everyone. And I live in a buzzing area where it is very possible to purchase
and bargain for most groceries from local farmers, butchers, and bakers, and
also participate in co-ops. All of these things are available here, so I
take advantage of it while I can.
I am just very passionate because I have had cancer before, and I don't want
it to come back or for the Golden Guy to get it at all. In addition, I am
dedicated to a breed that is the poster child for cancer and allergies. I
will do everything in my power that I can to prevent this from happening to
any golden I own.
