[nagdu] Navigating Ice

Hi all,
Even though I live in Texas, I got some Yack Tracks for Christmas. We had a
brutal ice storm in early December, and the ice didn't melt for several days.

Also, most of my relatives live in areas where you can count on ice and snow
for the winter. I havent' had to use the yack tracks yet, but at least I am
better prepared now.

Hi, I am pasting some info for you to call. Ask for Nowlan, he is the rep
for the anti slip co. I have been using his slip on product for the past 3
years and it works great!! Nolan can explain the best for you. You can
enter a building with these slip on anti slip devices and it doesn't impair
walking off ice, inside a store, or driving ect. It doesn't ruin the
store's floor. They also sell the Yack Track, a coil device you put on your
boot and works fantastic on ice and heavy snow.......You can't walk inside a
building though, you will loose control. Do yourself a favor and call
Nolan. I don't have any thing to do with the company, just thinking of your
benefit, I had many years of slipping and falling problems but, not now.

Hi,
I find ice to be a bit intimidating, especially in the street. I slip
and slide a lot, but find that if I just go with the flow and let what will
happen happen, I don't fall nearly as hard or as often. I wear a good set of
boots and Dallas won't wear his because he literally will stop working in
the middle of the sidewalk. He has learned, after a couple of close calls,
to slow down when he sees ice or feels me slip.
Hope this helps,
Aleeha
