not really. The problem is most hearing aids are geared toward speech and conversation which I can hear quite well if it isn't super loud. They are typically set to reduce backqound which is a problem if you're a blind traveler because you want to hear traffic from all directions so you have to turn that off with the drawback of receiving a bunch of back ground you don't want but there's not much you can do about it. If I turn them up it's too loud and overwhelming. I can hear some streets safely and others likea. busy 4 way intercetion I can't cross because the noise just runs together.
