[nagdu] Seeing eye class date question

Hello all. I recently applied and was accepted to the Seeing Eye. I received the email stating my acceptance in April. The admissions person said the school would place me in one of its summer classes this year since I am a college student. My family is trying to make summer plans and are getting fussy because I'm not certain of my class date. For those of you who got dogs from them, how long did it take you to get into class? How much notice did you receive regarding your class date? Would it be appropriate to send them a follow up email? All help is appreciated.
