Hi,

Whenever I have had a blood draw I have taken Africa into the area without
difficulty. You should make a complaint. President Gwizdala has had a number
of discussions on this list concerning doctors' offices and our guide dogs.
I am sure he will comment further.

Best Regards,

I had blood drawn at my doctor's office this morning. My husband drove me
over and I took Emma. When I was called back the woman who drew the blood
told me I would have to leave my dog with my husband.
I asked her why and she said it was a sterile environment. I told her it
had neer happened to me before. She then said there wasn't room for the
dog. She also said pets weren't allowed in there and I told her my dog was
not a pet. My husband did keep the dog and I plan to make a complaint to an
administrator but I want to know if I am correct in my thinking. What would
have happened if my husband was not there?
