I did notice that.  We live in a low to moderate humidity area, so i think the cooling vest will work well for us :)

Larry, Yeah, it is quite warm... been 85-90+ the past few days. Thankfully it's cooled down, rained some, and the need for a cooling vest has become much less urgent. A cooling vest is basically a jacket that you soak in water, and the coolness of the water is held in the fabric itself. It also acts as a barrier between the dog and the sunshine. :) Been following soccer myself, and had hoped to go to a game here, but tickets are crazy expensive! I am seriously considering buying the Ruffwear Swamp Cooler, but don't know if any other products are on the market. My dog is black, and seems to struggle with the 90+ temperatures we've gotten here over the past couple weeks. It's quite early in the summer here for such temperatures, so I am hoping for a relief from the heat, especially with a 45-minute bus commute in an un-air-conditioned bus. Thanks!
