Hi Dudley, well, I will agree with you that there are certain
instances when one answer doesn't fit every situation. Also, I'm
glad you got livid with that woman. How stupid! Back in the 80's
when I had my first dog Maxy, I was part of a prayer group. We
were all going to celebrate the Fourth of July together. Now,
most of the people in the prayer group were kind, considerate,
wonderful people. But we did attract our fair share of um,
challenged people. This guy got out a fire cracker of some sort
and threw it toward my dog's face. I was so mad, but after ten
people yelled at the guy, I figured no point in me doing it, too.
I grabbed my dog and headed in to the house with her. She was
trembling, and it took me quite some time to get her settled.
The leader of the prayer group was so upset that I think he asked
the guy to leave. They all loved me and my dog, and were so
horrified that anybody would be so stupid. It still makes my
heart beat a little faster when I think about it, and it's been
thirty years since that happened. To tell you the truth, I
wanted to slug him, and I'm about five-one. So what can you do
with idiots? Sorry, but I still feel like that guy was an idiot.
Debby with Neena, who is sleeping after our big morning out and
about. (Hmm. A nap sounds like a great idea!)
