William,

I too found some of what Raven had to say interesting, well-reasoned and
worth pursuing. However, over time the tone changed since others on the list
did not agree nor conform with her thoughts. When discussions become too
strident and when comments become personal then it is time to stop.

Raven's personal comments to Marion went over the line. I saw the trend
earlier in the week which is why I urged that we end the discussion.

Just because a discussion is cut off it does not mean that we are not
thinking about what was said.
