[NAGDU] Apartment Complex- Picking up poop

Well I have a sense of humor about it now because I'm writing to you guys
and I like joking, but no I wasn't happy and I wasn't happy when I've been
on the receiving end, and sometimes people can be extremely nasty, such as a
lady who accused me of leaving some and I said I had done the best I can and
she said "I saw you, you feel around for it, why didn't you feel around
harder" and she wasn't being funny, believe me she was being nasty.
So I do know what you mean, people can be pretty unforgiving and
mean-spirited
And it can get really bad if it were every day and all the time being
accused as has happened to friends of mine, So Lisa, I actually do
understand I'm just trying to be light-hearted and funny.

Now why don't I think we should be required to clean up, , Sindy, well first
of all you should see all the sighted folks who don't who can see when
people are looking at them.
I do it, clean up, because I have to, but when I can get away with it such
as on my own property I don't, it's harder to find, we do have to feel
around, we miss a lot and sometimes we're in places it's actually dangerous
to clean up such as in areas with traffic and so on when we heal off a
curb. I think most people would actually be sympathetic but the NFB, ACB and
other people have done a good job at convincing everyone that we should do
it and grousing every time there's an ordinance exception made for blind
people.
As I get older I find that I am not as sure-footed as I used to be and I've
lost my balance sometimes having to clean up and so on...and before you ask,
at convention I'll do my best so don't send the park area police after
me--lol only half a joke, you, meaningNaGDU,. seem to have the partials
checking and once I was yelled at by someone when actually I had cleaned up

Oh and what about the fact that finding a trash can in public is a royal
paine... And so on I could go on, but I do actually now have something to
do, see you guys soon and be good while I'm gone--smile, they sigh in
relief...now he's going to shut up, finally--smile

All right, now believe it or not guys, I'm actually a very nice guy and
enjoy talking to people and will get along but we all have our opinions and
you can't expect people to agree one hundred percent on everything.

For example, m I upset when people don't agree with me?--smile I like
differing opinions it's what makes the world a great place.

And I bet there are people on this list who agree with me but 1. have too
much stuff to do and don't really care, and I have nothing special to do
today so I'm paying attention to the list--smile or 2. they don't want to
be called out for having an unpopular opinion.

Yours most sincerely,
Dan and his four-legged friend, Parker

Well yeah, and it's fine to have a sense of humor about this stuff. But if
you're constantly being on the receiving end it seems more like harassment
then joking. And maybe this is just me, but I don't like being accused of
something I'm not doing.

Never make the same mistake twice. There are so many new ones, try a
different one each day.
