Hi Amanda, well, life has a funny way of changing.  When I got my 
first dog, I was living with a married couple and their two 
little boys.  It was a neighborhood with no sidewalks.  When I 
came home with Maxy, my first dog I realized how much I didn't 
like living in an area with no sidewalks.  I also realized that 
living with this family didn't fit me anymore.  I got my first, 
well, second apartment totally on my own, and I think really 
began to live as an adult.  Where I was working, they said I 
should go and get my dog, and I still received all my pay.  They 
thought that it was a good example for our clients.  When I 
worked for the IRS, they gave us two weeks, and my local office 
gave me another week.  This was all under paid aministrative 
leave.  I think it really depends on your employer.    Debby and
