[NAGDU] New seeing eye graduate and a question

Hi, Mike. I think it depends on your dog's habits. When is he most
excited? is it first thing in the morning or right after you come inside
and remove the harness?

I don't really have a set schedule for playing. Paige tends to get bouncy
after she comes in from her busy break, so we usually do some fetch or just
general running around. I'll stand in one place and Paige will start
running around my legs over and over until it's like being caught in a
tornado. Then she'll pick up her bone and run around with that for a bit.
She likes her toys, but she doesn't play a traditional fetch. I can throw
the Kong and she'll go get it, but she won't bring it back unless I chase
after her. I don't want to encourage this, though, so I just ignore her
until she's ready to share.

Usually what happens is I'll be doing something on the pC or iPhone and
she'll plop the Kong in my lap and want me to throw it. Then she'll pick it
up and let it bounce and chase after it by herself for a bit. I
specifically requested a dog that wasn't a clingy play and that's what I
got. She can entertain herself with her Kong or bone and if she wants
attention from me, she'll come get it, otherwise, she's kind of antisocial
unless she's around other people she doesn't see every day, then she has to
show off her toys. <grin>

The only appropriate time to yell out "I HAVE DIARRHEA!", is when you're
playing scrabble. Because it's worth a whole load of points.
