[NAGDU] How do I Know if Peg has a UTI?

Hi, Rox.
Peg may have a UTI. She's on a sample of an antiinflamatory med to try
to help with weakness in her back legs. Two of the side effects are
drinking more and increased hunger. I've seen a little of both and
have reported that to the vet. Am waiting to see what she says about
whether to keep her on or discontinue the medication.

She peed this morning with no problem, and it looked like a normal
amount. But I'm going to try some ACV and yogurt added to her
breakfast, along with some plain boiled chicken and broth. I'll also
watch her to see if anything is different.

I hate to be a pest, and don't want to bother the vet or the office
staff about every little thing. But not being able to see to spot
something as soon as it happens, and the fact that she's older and
that her age is starting to show and catch up with her makes this
tight-fisted mama even more anxious.

Thanks,
Dani
