[NAGDU] Traveling to Ireland

I will be going to Ireland with a group at the end of July. Very exciting!
I have decided to bring Krokus, and I want to get my ducks in a row so I'm
not scrambling at the end.

I've let the airline know I'm bringing a guide dog (which I usually
wouldn't, but I think I have to for international travel.)

I have contacted the Irish Ministry of Agriculture and told them I'm
bringing my guide dog with me. They sent back a big PDF document of EU regs
on bringing a guide dog into an EU country. It wasn't all that clear to me.

It seems like all I have to do is get Krokus his rabies shot, which I have
to do anyway, then find a USDA-qualified vet to do the paperwork and give K
a de-worming 3 days before we go.

Is it really that easy? Isn't there paperwork I have to give the vet?
Where do I get the paperwork? Or does the vet have it? Do I need a rabies
certificate from my regular vet to show the USDA vet?

Hope some of you world travelers have the answers.

Tracy
