[NAGDU] home owner's insurance and dangerous dog?

Interesting, I've met folks with GSD's as pets, though I'll confess not as
much lately but still quite a bit. I would have thought that the insurance
company would have been more worried if you had a pit bull--lol what can I
say, too bad.
Is there a way to play the guide dog card on that, in your case of course
it's not a guide dog card at all--smile because yours is, indeed a guide
dog?

Also they are quite stupid, the insurance folks I mean, I mean your dog is
under control and so on, they should really worry about people who let their
dogs run around the neighborhood loose or walk them without a leash
everywhere they go, but of course they're not looking at this stuff.

Then again, nothing surprises me with insurance, when I was a kid my folks
wanted to get me life insurance and the company told them that blind people
were a risk because we die more often, I was there and heard it, so I'm
quoting accurately--lol

My Dad told them that as far as he was aware, everyone dies eventually and
that's why they had life insurance, that company didn't work out though--

Regards,
Dan the man with Labrador hound

Thanks for the answers. Blah, looks as though I will be insurance shopping.

You know, the other day, i was looking up the most popular breeds of dogs in
the united states and, number 1 was lab, with number 2 being german
shepherd. I wonder how accurate this really is as, I very rarely come
across any GSD's as pets. And, how many folks really want to pay extra on
their insurance just because they have a certain breed of dog.
