Brenda,

I just flew a few weeks ago with Sully and I just tucked my purse sort of between me and the wall or between me and my husband. I didn’t have any problems on any of my 4 flights... good luck!

Brenda,

Depending on the size of your purse, it can be tucked next to you in the seat. I usually carry a smaller purse or fanny pack on the plane with just the essentials. That tends to get tucked in beside me or placed strategically behind my feet. Yes, I’m partially hiding it from overly zealous flight attendants and once or twice it’s been confiscated and put in the overhead but I haven’t been charged extra.

Usually I put my carry-on in overhead storage but keep my purse with anything really valuable or that I want to keep handy under the seat in front of me. But if a guide dog is under that seat where can you put a purse to keep it close to you?
