That is why on this side of border Trump was voted in crap like this. Let
stop PC stuff like this , people are tree hugers thay want to protect dogs.
This moring I was in Key food Rhett and I had some one say your dog looks
said and the person on line to check out said let the dog go for what was on
ground, I puled Rhett's head away from was on ground and told him leave it.
The person thinks that dog should he able to do wants. I told person do you
want to pay the vet bill when he gets sick and clean up after him. There is
some portion of populatin that wants to tell others how live and keeps
beauracrat in job. As you can see I am not for this kind of laws we need
less laws in our lives.

Jean, what kind of ulterior motives?  I thought it was the usual impulse to
tell other people, especially disabled people, how we should run our lives,
in this case, managing our dogs, because of course we aren't capable of
figuring that out for ourselves.

Yes, a really nasty piece of work. I also believe there are alterior motives
behind the push for these standards.

We are working hard to try to stop this nightmare.

Yikes!  An assessor, unknown to the dog (and thus probably to me) will come
up and walk away with my dog?!  Where's the bit about prying the leash from
my cold, dead hand?
And the assessor can come into my house and watch me play with my dog?
Suppose he doesn't feel like playing just then?
And no slip collars, head collars, etc?  That would call for a whole
different kind of dog than I have.
Those who think wee need more service dog regulation etc should read the
info Daryl sent.

What are these proposed Canadian guidelines I keep hearing about, and who is
pushing them? I haven't yet heard of any guide dog users who want them, but
maybe there are some? The whole thing sounds like another solution in search
of a problem.

They really propose to monitor playtime? How? Demanding my toy receipts?
"But his favorite toy is this thing I made from a bunch of old socks!"
