[NAGDU] Insisting on a particular breed of dog

Neither of the two GSDs I had worked out for me. One was totally insane and the other one just didn't bond with me at all. I really wanted one, but after that I would have never asked for one. I did have a crazy Lab once. I love the gait of the GSD, especially the second one. It was like she floated down the street.

I've heard the same, and experienced some of that, about GSD's. Hilde doesn't like a lot of diet changes or extras...she will get loose stools pretty easily but once she's stable, it's all good. Mind you, Chet, who was a lab, was exactly the same, while Leno has the proverbial cast iron stomach.
