[NAGDU] Rideshare survey question

I usually don't alert the driver that I have a guide dog.  This is not a requirement under the ADA as I understand it.  Also I might never get a ride or would wait a long time in getting one.  I primarily use one taxi company and they are aware of my dog. I've fought long and hard for acceptance of my guide dog with them but it seems that I've won the battle.   Sometimes a driver is surprised when I don't have my dog with me.
