[NAGDU] United Airlines banned breeds article

All,

Let's keep on track here. I see nothing in the article about guide and service dogs. This is about pets. The ACAA does not restrict which breeds of dogs we can bring on so long as they are legitimate guide dogs. Marion and I will reach out for clarification, however.

Best Regards,

Persistance! Tell them you want to be matched with a boxer and that is the only breed you want to consider for your next job. Be sure you want a boxer though. Research their traits and personalities. They are good guides but do have a few drawbacks that some might not like. For instance they drewal a lot when Iit gets hot or they smell food. I had to carry a handkerchief with me just for him. <smile>

Sounds beautiful. My wife adopted Rescue Boxers. I have had 2 Pilot dogs, both black labs. I wanted boxers. What is the trick to getting a boxer at Pilot dogs? Take care

Have a great day!

Pilot Dogs trains boxers that is a concern for me. I had a boxer from Pilot Dogs and he was a fantastic guide and a hard worker. We flew many times and he had no issues. BTW he was a brindle color and his name was Tiger.

I was a liytle upset by this too, especially with no explanation of what it means. I also take issue with the business of singling out dogs, but what does it really mean for guide dogs?
