[NAGDU] excitement about class, dreading retirement, was Re: video in training

Kerri, that makes sense to me.  I think I'd want to be there to hand over
the leash myself, too.  I'd want to see for myself that the new person
loved my dog, and that she was happy to go with him.
Good luck.  You're in for a tough weekend.  "Grief is the price of love." 
But it's a price worth paying, I think.
And soon you'll have a new dog who will love his or her work.
