[NAGDU] GPS app

I usually use APH's Nearby Explorer, but I've also used Blind Square. They both work similarly.
The thing to keep in mind with GPS is that, though they're good for telling me where I am, except in New York City, but they don't tell me much about walking conditions, if I try to use one to plan a route. They don't know if there's a sidewalk or not. And I've had them more than once tell me to cross a busy street where there was no traffic light. Fine if you're driving, not good for a blind pedestrian. The maps seem to never be updated as to points of interest as well. Mine tell me about places I know have been closed for years.
But, if all I want to know is what street I'm on, what street is coming up, and which direction I'm going, they're quite helpful.
Tracy
