Hi everyone,

I wanted share with you a couple of opportunities to engage.

First, if you live in the Puget Sound Regional Council region (King, Pierce, Snohomish Counties), you can apply here <https://www.psrc.org/committee/equity-advisory-committee> to be part of a new equity committee. Here's a short blurb:

*	The Equity Advisory Committee (EAC) will work with the agency to co-create products as part of the Regional Equity Strategy <https://www.psrc.org/equity> as well as advise PSRC committees and policy boards on policies and programs with an equity lens. PSRC is now seeking applications for people who would become part of this committee!

Also, another paid opportunity for participating in a survey:

Want to help make transit technology more accessible? California-based transit association/non-profit, CALACT <https://calact.org/home> , is working on a project that aims to increase the accessibility of online and mobile “transit trip planning apps” (like Google Maps or the Transit app) in all three West Coast states.

The project is a 5-year effort, with partners such as the state DOTs, non-profits, and software companies, to promote technologies that would help all transit agencies, including rural and demand-response transit agencies, to better serve riders. There is a focus on riders with disabilities, older riders, and low-income riders.

The “ITS4US” project, which you can read more about <https://calact.org/news/280> here, is looking for feedback. If you identify as a transit rider with a disability, elderly, or low income, you can participate in a 30-45 minute interview with the project consultants to share your thoughts on what apps like Google Maps, Apple Maps, Transit and others could do to be more accessible. You’ll receive a $25 pre-paid debit card for your time.

Take care,

Anna
