Tyler,
So sorry that I could not join you guys. How was your Christmas?
I hope to be back at work on January 11.
It is time once again to invite NF
B and MCBVI to address seminar.
I will be in touch about dates for this upon my return.

Best Regards,
Christine

Subject: [Nfb-kzoo] Meeting on November 19

Hi list,
Tyler checked with the University Road House, and they do have a
separate room we can use for our meeting. It isn't down town, but it's
a pretty centralized location, and maybe being so close to campus it
will encourage more student participation. Here is the info:

University Road House
1332 W Michigan Ave
Kalamazoo, MI 49006
(zip code seems wrong to me but that's what google maps says.)
Here is a link to download the menu:

We have a reservation for 6:00 PM on this coming Thursday, November 19.
Please come when you can if you can't make it right at 6:00.

Let us know who is planning to attend so we know who to expect, and also
whether we can plan to do elections.

A phone conference was held on Sunday, November 1. Those who attended
this conference were Tyler and Leanne Merren, J.J. Meddaugh, Corda Moss,
Christine Boone, and Faith Meadows.
The group discussed time and location of meetings. It was agreed that
meetings should be held at the same time every month, and at one
consistent place. The group favored the idea of meeting at a
restaurant.
The group then discussed plans for State Convention (November 6-8 in
Grand Rapids), and details of the upcoming election of the president of
the state affiliate. Transportation was arranged among those who were
planning to attend.
Finally, email communication was discussed, and the group felt that
emails were being delayed on occasion, but that all are receiving the
messages. It was agreed to continue using the NFB list instead of
moving to another server such as googlegroups.

At the meeting on Thursday, we look forward to electing the chapter
board, hearing updates from State Convention, and making plans for the
upcoming year. Please invite anyone who you think might be interested.
Membership dues are $5 per member, but membership is not required to
attend meetings.

Thanks, and see you on Thursday for some great food and a good time with
friends!
Leanne
