Good Evening Federation Family and Friends

What a wonderful summer it has been. With the inception of the fall upon us, the Kalamazoo chapter is hard at work in trying to develop ways to increase community engagement and camaraderie. It is with pleasure that we invite you to the Kalamazoo Safe Social. This social comes in the form of a picnic, but each month it will be a different form of social event and is intended to increase our local and state activity both internally (within the organization) and externally (within the community). This month, the social will be to celebrate Rachel Pavone, one of our members, graduation from Western Michigan University and the beginning of her graduate program. We are also taking this time to allow for new members that recently joined to meet chapter members in person for the first time. So, please come join us at the picnic and create some lasting memories. If you are a music lover, we will showcase the musical stylings of members that play saxophone, guitar, keyboard, and, of course, their wonderful voices. The information about the event is below and we hope to connect with many of you there.

Date: Friday, August 21, 2020.

Time: 1pm EST

Location: The Valley Dining Center Gazebo
Western Michigan University
1903 W. Michigan Avenue
Kalamazoo, MI 49008

*Hint*: If you are using Lift or Uber, use the location "Cafe1903" instead of the address to get closer to the location. The entire Western campus has the same official address.*

Interested in attending? While we invite all people to attend, we do ask that if you are interested in coming that you bring an item to go with the potluck theme of the picnic. Contact Taylor Arndt at 616.255.7357 to register and inform her of what is being donated.
