Residential Life Assistant

The New Mexico School for the Blind and Visually Impaired is currently
recruiting a full-time evening and a full-time graveyard Residential Life
Assistant.  Will be required to provide individual and group guidance
services related to scholastic, educational, personal hygiene and social
skill development to students who are blind/visually impaired, with/without
other impairments.  Full-time nine month evening position: 3:30 pm to 11:30
pm and graveyard position: 11:30 pm to 7:30 am.  Graveyard shift provides
vigilant supervision and assists with morning hygiene.  Must remain awake
for all shifts.  Evening shift will be required to become Braille
proficient. Applications accepted until filled.

 

Recreation Coordinator, Sub -Regularly Scheduled

Assist and implement recreational activities and creative arts programs for
visually and/or multiply impaired students.  Nine (9) month regularly
scheduled sub position. Position from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm two days a week.
