Transition Services Coordinator

Duties include the ability to provide individualized and/or group services in developing transition plans to include career development, employment preparation, self-determination development, vocational assessment, accessing statewide resources, and integration in the workplace community to students Pre-K to 12 with visual impairments and multiple disabilities.  Master’s degree in related areas such as special education teaching, counseling, vocational rehabilitation, etc.  Training or experience in special education, with school to work initiatives and/or with the blind and visually impaired student population, is preferred.  NM Public Education Department licensure required.  Will be required to become Braille proficient, visual impairment coursework may be required.  Full‑time contract for the 2018-2019 school year. Applications accepted until filled.
