Registered Nurse

The New Mexico School for the Blind and Visually Impaired is currently
recruiting for an RN.  This individual will plan and implement health care
services to visually and/or multiply impaired students.  The ability to
demonstrate current knowledge in professional issues in school nursing,
school and community health, communicable disease control, health
assessment, acute and chronic health conditions, injury prevention and
emergency care, student issues, and legal/ethical health policies.  New
Mexico Board of Nursing Multistate Compact Licensure is required and must be
eligible for certification from the New Mexico Public Education Department.
This is a three quarter time evening nurse position that will become
full-time as of February 2020.  Work schedule is Sunday -Friday, as well as
occasional weekends and/or out of state travel when necessary.  Applications
