NOW HIRING: Workplace Support Aids 

For our 2025 Students in Transition to Employment Program ( STEP) 

Positions are available in Albuquerque, Las Cruces, Roswell, Chaparral, Farmington, Hobbs, Gallup and Santa Fe areas. 

Are you passionate about working with high school and college students? 

The NM Commission for the Blind is hiring individuals for temporary, part- time positions during June and July. The individuals hired will perform a variety

of duties to support students with disabilities participating in a summer work/ training program. Duties include reading documents aloud, completing task

analysis, demonstrating task completion, explaining assignments, role modeling good work habits, reinforcing soft skills, and prompting students in the

completion of work tasks at their summer work- based learning sites. Experience as a special education teacher or educational assistant in school settings

is preferred, although related experience is acceptable. 

Must be able to pass a background investigation and pass testing for federally prohibited drugs. 10- 36 hours per week. $ 37.50 per hour. Status is " at

will". Open until April 30, 2025, or until needed positions are filled. Apply ASAP!
