Holiday greetings everyone,

The At Large Chapter will not be meeting in December, but I want to pass on some important information before our next meeting which will be on January 27th, the 4th Tuesday of the month.

2.  At Large Chapter board members for 2026:
President, Janet Montoya
Vice President, Frank Maestas
Sec/tres, Jamie Sibson
1st board member, Rafael Aguirre
2nd board member, Will Harmond
Thank you to all who participated in the elections.

3. A special thank you goes out to Martin Gallegos and Thristen Tucker for serving on the board in 2025. Thank you both for your commitment, support and encouragement which have made a meaningful impact on the growth and strength of our Chapter. The time, energy and leadership you invested is truly appreciated.

4. I would like to recognize two of our chapter members, Darlene Ortiz and Orlando Meraz, whom we are proud to sponsor as part of the NM delegate to attend the Washington Seminar. We wish you and all the NM delegate party, safe travels and great success on this meaningful journey.

5.This is a shout out to our fundraising committee  which has great plans for the coming year.
Here is a preview of what's to come:

  *   Cornhole toss tournament in Los Alamos,
  *   Bingo event in Bernalillo,
  *   3rd annual Bonito Valley fundraiser in Lincoln County
  *   Restaurant events in Las Cruces, Santa Fe and Alamogordo.

These fundraising events make it possible for us to sponsor important activities such as BELL, State Convention, Washington Seminar, College scholarships,National Conventions and more.

6. Volunteer(s) needed. We are in need of someone that can help us keep track of a calendar of events. This includes affiliate chapter meetings. all fundraising events, special events, etc. If you are interested and need more information please let me know.
