Celebrating the Brilliance of Braille

Join the National Federation of the Blind (NFB) for a transformative
learning experience as we celebrate two centuries of breakthroughs in
Braille, blind innovation, and the enduring legacy of Louis Braille. At the
NFB BELLR (Braille Enrichment for Literacy and Learning) Academy, we empower
the next generation to carry forward this remarkable tradition of
independence, creativity, and possibility.

Through engaging activities, hands-on learning, and mentorship from
experienced blind leaders, participants will strengthen their Braille
literacy and build confidence in nonvisual skills. Together, we'll explore
how Braille and blind innovation have shaped the past, enriched the present,
and are driving the future.

Highlights include:

*	Interactive Braille lessons celebrating two hundred years of tactile
literacy.
*	Inspiring stories of blind inventors and change-makers.
*	Fun, educational activities to develop nonvisual, daily living, and
social skills.

About National Federation of the Blind Education Initiatives

The National Federation of the Blind knows that blindness is not the
characteristic that defines the future of blind and low-vision youth.
Through our extensive education programs, we present blind children with new
ideas, expose teachers and families to our positive philosophy on blindness,
and encourage blind youth to reach their full potential. For more
information about our education programs, please contact us at
