Speaker Mr. Jonathan Mosen. I invite anyone to this meeting to hear him
speak at our meeting Thursday June 19, 2025 @ 6:30 for social time, and 7pm

4.	Special Guest Speaker- Jonathan Mosen

Topic: How Jonathan started as a podcaster, transitioned from New Zealand to
the United States, and any other questions people may have for him.

 

5.	NFB Pledge: (Will be read by Melanie Redhouse)

I pledge to participate actively in the efforts of the National Federation
of the Blind: to achieve equality, opportunity, and security for the blind.
To support the policies and programs of the Federation: and to abide by the
Constitution.

 

6.	NFB Belief Message: (Will be read by Marino Redhouse)

The National Federation of the Blind advances the lives of its members and
all blind people in the United States. We know that blindness is not the
characteristic that defines you or your future . Every day we raise the
expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles
between blind people and our dreams. Our collective power, determination,
and diversity achieve the aspiration of all blind people.

a. Start thinking about State Convention in October and what our chapter can
donate for auction or what we can sell there, etc. 

b. Do you want to have a meeting next month July 17? Or do you want to have
our meeting until August 21? Due to the National Convention taking place,
Tara said it is up to each chapter whether we want to have a meeting in
July.

d. Philosophy segment: (we will not be doing this portion for this month so
we can give our guest speaker more time)
