[NFB-NM] Big Brother, Big Sister for Blind Students Flyer

Come Join the Big Brother, Big Sister Group for Blind Students!
     Students from pre school, elementary, and middle school have the wonderful opportunity to be mentored by older students in subjects and blindness skills that they are struggling with. In addition, they will have the opportunity to do fun activities such as cooking, swimming, blind accessible sports and more. Students will meet with their mentors once a month. Mentors can be high school, college, and other post secondary students, including students of life who are blind. Anyone over eighteen will be required to participate in a mandated background check. Once every two to three months, a fun activity, like those mentioned above, will be offered for the mentors and mentees to attend. Most of the meetings will take place in person, but a few can take place on zoom depending on availability.
