Hello,
The one thing thing that I can think of is webvisum. Do a Google search and you should find it. I don't know much more than the fact that it renders capchas like the one you mentioned in a way that your screen reader can read.
Hope this helps,
Aleeha

Is there any way to make JAWS cooperate with this or is my only option to deal with this having to delay finishing this until I can get in touch with someone on site? I am using JAWS 9 with XP. Yes, old, I admit it:).
