Just F Y I, if the Houston chapter is interested to know, one of the main reasons I have been unable to attend chapter meetings in person, was due to the demands of my academic studies.



I am happy to report that yesterday, I graduated from the University of Texas, Health Science Center at Houston, School of Biomedical Informatics, with a P h D in Biomedical Informatics.



To the best of everyone's knowledge, I am the first blind individual in the country, if not the world, to earn a doctorate in this STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) subject area.



So, apologies for missing all of those meetings; and once again, thank you for all of your assistance,
