[nfb-talk] Tragedy in Denver

Come on folks! The bus stop is not the issue. It was a tragic accident.
The woman lost control of her car and obviously went up over the curb and
hit the three people. There is no way to "make bus stops safe for
everyone". A bus stop is simply a designated place, along the street, to
stand, (or sometimes sit) and wait for a bus. This was a tragic accident,
but, that's what it was...an accident. We don't need to run to congress for
another law to make bus stops safe. It probably wouldn't help, anyway.
Someone could still lose control of their car on the ice, and someone could
still be hurt or killed, despite all the laws they could dream up.

Cindy

I'm in agreement with these posts. I found out about this yesterday,
and I'm still overwhelmed with sorrow. I had just met David at the NFB
convention in Dallas back in July. I'm praying for everyone at the
CCB, and all of his family. Yes, they do need to make those bus stops
safe for everyone. Let's petition congress. Blessings, Joshua
