[nfb-talk] Tragedy in Denver

Joshua,

Knowing the intersection and the bus stop quite well, I can only say
that this bus stop was about as safe as could be. I don’t think icy
road conditions alone account for this accident. The stop is too far
from the intersection, the turn necessary to have caused the accident
far too sharp, and the speed limit on Utica too low for any normal
explanation.

If I had to hazard a guess, someone tried to gun it through a yellow
light, made the turn, and then hit a patch of ice. Not exactly a
completely no-fault accident, if you ask me.

Joseph
