[nfb-talk] Tragedy in Denver

This would have happened no matter weather the people were sighted or blind. If you are enclosed on three sides and see something coming at you, or not, you still do not have anywhere to go because you are enclosed. Do you run towards the car or stay where you are. Also the car could have hit from the side of the shelter, who knows. There was no way to escape, blind or sighted. They were caught in a trap, due to bad weather. I still remember falling on ice, half way under a cab, how scarry!
My thoughts go out to all the family's and all the school members. The only thing that could have kept this tragity from happening would have been cleaner roads.

Mike I don't give up easy,
You know that.
It seems to me folks decide what to stand up for, and if the head persons disagree then nothing happens.
If the head persons have a comment and want to have a following, then we all need to jump hoops to make it happen.
It seems to me, the federation would get further if everyone could see we stand up for what is important to us on a topic.
This would not only help the blind, to fix buss stopps but would help everyone else as well.
I understand accidents where there has to be a way to keep this from happening.
To many lives have been lost.
