This is Kathy davis, immediate past president of the NFB of Florida. 
My brother Marion has recently received a frightening diagnosis which 
is likely to result in the loss of vision in one eye and possibly the 
other. Marion is a retired judge in North Georgia and he asked me if 
I would put a cry for help and information out for him.

Would you please post the below information for me and ask folks to 
get back in touch with me if they have information that could be

Sister, my diagnosis is AION, Anterior Ischemic Optic 
Neuropathy.  Can you send out an email to your Federation group 
asking anyone familiar with it to contact me or send you the names of 
any specialist in that area. I Would like to get in a chatroom.
