[nfb-talk] nNational con attendance

Ed,

Obviously it is impossible to know for sure what might cause the attendance drop, but I would put my money on the economy, and also the fact that food is pretty
expensive at this location. For many of us, the price of airline tickets has gone up significantly as well. Still, the attendance is pretty respectable when you think
about it, and I don't think our convention can just keep getting bigger and bigger as it did for so long. Of course, that doesn't mean we shouldn't keep trying to make
the convention bigger and better.

Best regards,

Steve Jacobson

for tours. I have been to 32 national cons and only once took a tour, so it did not affect me.

back to ones I wanted to revisit very easily. Last year in Detroit I found the huckster room so confusing that I never did get to all the tables I wanted to see. I realize
that we are confined by the physical shape of the ballroom used, and sometimes it is impossible to set up an easy geometry.
