[nfb-talk] Convention

Dear All,

Amen brother. Judge not least thee be judged.
The NFB is an organization of and for the Blind. Not the elite Blind nor
the poor Blind.
We all come in various conditions and abilities and disabilities. We are
not perfect and we should not always expect others to be that way either.
We are all travelers along the same road in Life. Some of us have come
farther down that road than others and some of us have farther to go than
others.
We all learn from this journey and we bear the marks and scars of that
journey. Those marks are our badges of courage and show our right of
passage.
If we had nothing left to learn, we could stay home instead of coming to
convention to both learn and teach others what we know, what we have learned
and to let us serve each other as both teachers and puple.
I hope that I never find myself to be so smug as to think that I don't still
have something to learn from other fellow Blind people.
I enjoy seeing and meeting all of the folks at convention and hope that we
all go home better for the experience.

David Evans, NFBF and GD Jack.
