[nfb-talk] WIFy at Convention

Good morning everyone,

We had this one whipped as we signed up for Time-
Warner's Mobile Internet Service in April. It worked like a charm in our
room and in one of the meeting rooms at the Shingle Creek. It costs us about
$50.00 per month but we have Internet-on-the-go that works anywhere any
time. Rather than leaving yourselves to the mercy of hotel WiFY and charges
for Internet use I'd suggest investing in mobile Internet service through
your provider.

I listen to NPR's Performance Today and was able to successfully record
two episodes while in Orlando. At no time did the connection drop. Now to
see if I can push audio to a streaming server with this service opening up
the possibility of being able to stream convention break-out meetings and
our state convention. This was an investment worth making. It's got the
power!!

yes it is nice to check email though when you would wish.
What was the cost to use their system?
Five dollars?
Would that be a day?
Jim likes to check things out like that.
Me, I would rather use my new system with Verizon.
I have worked hard to do email by the phone, and even if I say so
myself, I plum don't do that bad.
My lists laugh at me if they get a blank message.
I even hit the wrong keys on this computer trying to do something else.
Keeps me thinking.
