All,
these comments need to go to the national office. I think many of you should put these suggestions in a letter and send it with many signatures to national. Otherwise they are simply wishings and not documented.
I'm surprised that audio visual equipment was not provided by the hotel.  I'm surprised its in the same location for five years!

Does anyone know if it’s the same hotel?

Hi, folks.

I think negotiating for good rates for these services isn't an unreasonable request at all.  I really liked the Rosen Centre, the food was great, and the staff were very helpful.  Still, this nickel and diming stuff is kind of irritating.  Since these hotels are advertised as being ideal for meetings, you'd think having reasonably priced audio-video and WYFI service would be a top priority.  We want to feel like welcome guests, not a captive audience.
Let's hope they didn't roll out the red carpet in order to reel us in, only to tighten the screws once we're in the bag, so to speak.
