[nfb-talk] Mobile Internet Service

Hello James and everyone,

It's a two-year contract. For us that's okay. We know what our mobile
Internet service will cost us each month and don't need to worry about
varying hotel Internet charges and the quality of the service they offer. I
know about this first-hand when I attempted to stream the 2009 NFB of Kansas
State Convention. Although the Internet service in that particular hotel was
free you get what you pay for. Hell even our cell phone service didn't work
in Salina let alone attempting to broadcast a state convention. Around here
we live by convenience and dependability not price.

Hi Peter and list,

This mobile internet service you speak of, does one need a long term
contract for it or can one subscribe for a few months, drop it, then
subscribe again? If I were to get a Verizon Air card, that is a two year
contract and I certainly can't afford the cost of that especially if I don't
travel for some time. Or, what is the website so I can read up on this
further!

Thanks much!

Jim
