[nfb-talk] need help with jaws

Right now I am at 12.0.1161 which was just released the day before
yesterday. That was another thing they had me do, update to the very latest
version. But I can reproduce this problem on a machine running version 9. I
can reproduce it on Windows XP, jaws version 9, and Windows XP jaws version
12, and Windows 7 jaws version 12. I can reproduce the problem on every
machine I've tried it on and have been able to do so for many years.

To be quite honest, I think Freedom Scientific is jerking me around. But I
thought I'd better make sure before i started thinking badly of them.

First they asked for a more detailed explanation of the problem which I
think is fairly clear to anyone who knows anything about computers. Second,
they made me update my version even though my version was only a couple of
weeks old and the problem has been around for years anyway. Now they say
they can't reproduce it. Hmmm... I suppose its possible I've done something
wrong when installing jaws all these years but I just set up a Windows 7
machine a few weeks ago and haven't done anything to it yet but installed
jaws. And it does the same thing. I mean, its practically a fresh install of
Win7.
