The article didn't say the results of the suit, just that HUD was going to
be suing. I mean, I guess that would be DOJ, department of justice.

Glad that that worked for you. What they're trying to determine is if your
disability will still be there in 3 years & if you'll still be recieving
those benifit payments. As if you were not, it'd effect your income. What
you didn't tell us is how that suit came out. I am not an attorney & don't
play one on the radio. But, I'd be willing to bet if I were a betting man.
&, sometimes I am. Is that the courts under current law would uphold the
lenders right to ask those questions & ask for that sort of verification.
But, mortgage laws & the ability to get one has gotten much much tougher in
the last 5 years since the housing crisus of 2008. When banks were giving
loans to folks who could have never repaid them. That's exactly why the
housing market is in the state that it currently is. Too many people were
getting loans who shouldn't have had them. &, banks & mortgage lenders were
not doing enough to insure that those loans could be paid back. The laws
have changed a great deal since then. &, there is a much larger verification

process which has to now be undertaken. Yeah, I opined there a little bit,
but, yes, sometimes I do get paid for doing so.
