That's a common mistake. There are so many agencies and organizations
for the blind, it's hard for "outsiders" (that is, members of the
general public who are not in the blindness field) to differentiate
between organizations of and for the blind. Besides, the seeming
semantics games of "of" versus "for" seem trivial to them, although we
know it's a big difference to us.
