Since to my knowledge, no one who works for KNFB Reading Technologies
frequents this list, anything that might be ventured as an answer to your
question is little more than guesswork. People seem to think that there is
some over-arching font of wisdom that at unpredictable intervals, leaks gems
onto these lists. (grin)

Given the foregoing, here's my guess: I think it'll be more like the middle
of October before the app is released. After all, the announced intention is
to see that unforeseen bugs due to the introduction of iOS 8 are squashed
before the app is released. I don't anticipate this happening but the gods
of software are fickle.
